{Big Announcement!} The News I Didn't See Coming
Hello Reader,
Last week when we dropped our baby girl off at college, we had an experience in an elevator that might be easily forgotten if it wasn't for the feeling of being "jolted" every time it came to a stop.
Well "jolted" is an excellent word to describe another situation that I didn't see coming as it relates to Stableminded and my journey with Kodiak Jack. I was informed on August 18 that the farm which is home to Stablemind is being sold and new ownership will take over within 60 to 90 days.
You can imagine my heartbreak over this news considering the time I've invested in creating a space for all the programming I dreamed about offering as well as the client base I've been building and the significant attachment to the horses and people I get to work alongside.
And yet, God is completely in the details.
You might have also seen the news I posted recently that I joined the Take Heart Counseling and Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy team earlier this month. God is so incredibly kind to provide this opportunity before losing my Stableminded space at Honey Brook Stables. I will be able to continue to care for my current clients in a new location. Plus, so many of my dreams are in sync with Megan and the Take Heart team. Seriously, I'm excited to see what collaboration is going to do for those we get to serve together! Plus, there is a spot available for Kody to board at Take Heart, so that eliminates the juggling between two wonderful places.
Yes, God is faithful and kind and gracious in ways we can't even fathom until we experience it firsthand.
Buy what will happen to Stableminded and the Finding Calm curriculum due to be released by Horseclass.com?
For now, everything will stay the same from your vantage point, however, working with me for farm sessions will now take place at Three Hearts Ranch, home of Take Heart in Wernersville, PA.
While my heart is grieving the impending loss of the horse community that I dearly love at Honey Brook Stables, I am eager to see the plans and purposes of God unfold. I have a feeling He is up to something rather remarkable and can't wait to see what that is in the years to come.
I hope you'll stick around to watch the adventure unfold with me so that we can look back on this moment in awe of God together.
